Jazz Lab Ensemble With Guest Artist Kirsten Edkins
Kirsten Edkins is one of the most exciting young saxophonists and composers working in the greater Los Angeles area. Ms. Edkins graduated from the prestigious Eastman School of Music which she attended on scholarship. While there she studied composition and arranging with Bill Dobbins, and saxophone with Walt Weiskopf and the legendary Ray Ricker. “I love playing with Kirsten. She always brings a bunch of creative juice to the table and her compositions follow their own morality.” – Joey Sellers
